What’s Going On?
It’s the final week in our PUB. Here’s a bit of what’s coming up, but be prepared for a few surprises along the way as well.
2-5 December?
In our last week we’ve got A FREE HOUSE directed by Chris Meads – you’ll meet Michael, who needs a couple of quiet pints in his local and instead meets a bar full of strangers who change the way he sees the men in his family. We have our roving interactive juke box back on Saturday, and there’ll be poetry from Giles Haworth and Marvin Cheeseman. The Stepping Stone project from Rochdale are doing a piece on Friday night called WAITING FOR THE BACCY MAN. And the lovely Annie Fitzmaurice has been inspired by pub drinkers in Wythenshawe for her piece on Wednesday. We’ve had a tip off that the Kazi King – a really annoying toilet inspector might be springing a surprise inspection on us on Friday too. So keep your eyes peeled please.
